I am Hemant Chaudhary, a Local SEO consultant and Google Business Profile expert. For fifteen years I have done one thing properly: put local businesses into the Google map pack, keep them there, and now get them named inside AI answers as well. Plans start at $200 a month, month to month, with the audit free before you decide anything.
What I do
Search is no longer one page of blue links. Your customer might type into Google, tap the Maps app, or ask ChatGPT which company to call. These six services cover all three surfaces, and I run every one of them myself rather than handing your account to a junior.
Complete optimization of the profile that decides whether you show up in the map pack. Categories, services, products, photos, posts, Q and A and reviews, all configured the way Google actually reads them.
Location-extension campaigns that put your profile in front of buyers on day one, while the organic map ranking is still being built. Paid and local working from the same keyword set instead of against each other.
On-page, technical and content work on your own site so rankings hold when an update lands. Built around the pages that make you money rather than a vanity keyword list.
Grid-based rank tracking around your address, then the specific work needed to expand the area where you appear in the top three. Proximity is a factor nobody controls, so the fix is depth everywhere else.
Answer Engine and Generative Engine Optimization, so ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews name your business when somebody asks for a recommendation in your city.
Before any money changes hands. I look at your site, your Google Business Profile and your three closest local competitors, then send a plain-English list of what is broken and what it is costing you.
Pricing
I publish my rates because hiding them wastes both our time. Everything runs month to month. If a month does not earn its fee, you stop. There is no notice period and no exit clause to argue about.
Map pack focus
For businesses that need the map pack before anything else
Leads from day one
Management fee. Ad spend is paid directly to Google by you
Most US clients start here
Website and map pack worked together, which is how local search actually behaves
Everything, one operator
Organic and paid run by the same person off the same keyword data
Proof, not promises
Screenshots from profiles I manage, comparing July 2026 against July 2025. Nothing cropped and nothing edited. Some of these clients are in Florida, some in Dubai and some in India, because the method does not change with the country. Drag the row to see more.
How we work together
The order matters more than the tactics. Building links before fixing indexing, or chasing keywords before the profile is verified, is how budgets disappear with nothing to show for them.
Your site, your Google Business Profile and your three closest map competitors, reviewed properly. You get a written list of what is broken and what it is costing you in missed calls. Free, no obligation, usually back within a day.
Indexing errors, wrong categories, inconsistent addresses, thin pages, broken schema. The unglamorous month. Most profiles gain something here before a single new keyword is targeted.
Content, citations, reviews, Google posts, schema and links, all aimed at the searches that convert in your ZIP codes rather than the ones with the biggest national volume.
A report pulled from your own Search Console and Business Profile dashboards, so you can verify every number yourself. Calls and form fills first, rankings second.
About
I started in 2011 as an SEO trainee, went from trainee to SEO manager over seven years, and have been fully independent since 2018. Fifteen years, one discipline. No pivot into social media management, no reselling somebody else dashboard with my logo on it.
Working with me means working with me. There is no account manager sitting between us and no ticket queue. You message me on WhatsApp and I answer, usually within a few hours. That is only possible because I keep the client list small and a team of five handles production work behind the scenes.
Who I work with
Every category searches differently. Somebody looking for an emergency plumber behaves nothing like somebody comparing orthodontists over three weeks. These are the verticals where I do not need to learn on your budget.
Questions and answers
Real questions from real enquiries, answered the way I answer them on a call. If yours is not here, send it on WhatsApp and I will add it.
A Local SEO expert makes your business appear in the Google map pack and the local results for searches happening in your service area, then keeps it there. The work splits into three parts: your Google Business Profile, your website, and the third-party sources Google checks to confirm you are real.
In practice that means fixing your categories and profile fields, cleaning up your name, address and phone across dozens of directories, building city and service pages that do not compete with each other, earning reviews at a steady pace, and adding schema markup so search engines and AI assistants can read your business as structured facts rather than guessing from paragraphs.
It is a different discipline from national SEO. A beautiful website with weak local signals loses the map pack to a plain website with a well-run profile every single time.
My rates are $200 a month for Google Business Profile SEO, $200 a month to manage Google Ads for your Google Business Profile, $500 a month for website SEO and profile SEO together, and $650 a month for all three. The audit is free and there is no contract on any plan.
Across the US market you will see anything from $300 to $5,000 a month. The cheap end is usually automated directory submissions and spun content that stops working after an update. The expensive end is agency overhead you are paying for. What genuinely changes the price is scope: a single-location clinic is a different job from a franchise with nine locations or an ecommerce catalog.
Ad spend is separate on the Google Ads plans. You pay Google directly and keep control of the card, which is how it should be.
Expect the first measurable movement in four to six weeks and stable positions on your main keywords in three to six months, depending on how competitive your category and city are.
The metrics move in a predictable order and knowing it stops the month-two panic. Impressions and profile views shift first, then direction requests and website clicks, then phone calls, and ranking positions settle last. A garage door company in a suburb of Phoenix moves faster than a personal injury attorney in Los Angeles competing with firms spending six figures a year.
Google Ads is the exception. Those campaigns produce calls in the first week, which is why some clients run ads while the organic work compounds underneath.
Get verified, choose the correct primary category, make your name, address and phone identical everywhere online, collect reviews steadily, and publish activity on the profile every week. Then build local relevance through your website and citations.
Category is the most under-rated lever in local search. A clinic listed as Doctor instead of Dermatologist is invisible for the search that actually converts, and switching it can move rankings within days. After that, proximity between the searcher and your address does a lot of the work, which is why you rank strongly near your building and weakly across town.
The fix for that is not tricks. It is depth: more reviews that mention your service and your neighborhood, more genuinely local content on your site, and more citations than the three profiles currently above you.
AI assistants recommend businesses they can find described clearly and consistently across sources they trust. The work is structured question-and-answer content, complete schema markup, and citations on the pages these models actually read.
Three things move the needle. First, write pages that answer the exact question somebody would ask out loud, with the direct answer in the opening sentence rather than four paragraphs down. Second, mark up your business, services, author and FAQs in schema so a machine extracts facts instead of inferring them. Third, be described the same way everywhere: your Google Business Profile, Yelp, BBB, industry directories and your own site.
It is measurable. I track how often a client gets named across a fixed set of prompts, not just where they sit in ten blue links. My own site is currently cited in Google AI Overviews, which is the same method applied to myself.
Yes. I work with businesses in all 50 states and Washington DC, remotely, and I do not need to be in your city to rank your profile there.
Local SEO is done inside your Google Business Profile dashboard, your website, and the directories that carry your listing. None of that requires a local office. What it does require is understanding your specific market, which is why the audit starts with your three closest map competitors rather than a generic checklist.
Everything runs over WhatsApp, email and scheduled calls. I keep hours that overlap US mornings so you are not waiting a day for an answer.
Hire an agency if you need many services at once and can absorb the overhead. Hire a freelance consultant if you want the person doing the work to be the person you talk to.
The honest trade-off is capacity. An agency has cover when somebody leaves and can put ten people on a launch. A consultant cannot. What you get instead is that nothing is handed to whoever joined last month, and a far larger share of your fee goes into the actual work rather than into rent and account management.
For a single-location business spending under roughly $1,500 a month, a consultant is almost always better value. Above that, or with several brands to run, an agency starts to make sense.
No, and you should treat any guarantee of a specific position as a warning sign rather than a selling point.
Nobody controls Google index, its updates or where the searcher is standing, so nobody can guarantee an outcome that depends on all three. Google own guidelines say the same. What I commit to is the work: a defined scope every month, a report from your own dashboards so you can verify it, and an honest conversation the moment something is not working.
Where I will make a prediction is direction. After the audit I will tell you whether your keywords are realistically winnable in six months, and if they are not, I will say so rather than take a retainer for a fight you cannot win.
Usually yes, provided the underlying guideline violation is corrected before the appeal is filed. Appealing without fixing the cause is the most common reason reinstatements fail.
The usual triggers are keywords stuffed into the business name, a virtual office or coworking desk listed as a staffed location, a category that does not match what you really do, a recent name or address change, or too many edits submitted at once.
I diagnose the trigger, correct it, gather what Google asks for such as licensing, utility bills, signage photos and registration documents, then file the appeal. Most cases resolve within days to a few weeks. If a business is genuinely ineligible, I will tell you rather than take payment for something that cannot be won.
Local SEO earns your position in the map pack over time and costs nothing per click. Google Ads buys visibility immediately and stops the moment you stop paying. Most US clients run both, because they solve different problems.
Ads are the right call when you need calls this week, when you are opening a new location with no ranking history, or when your season is short and you cannot wait six months. Local SEO is the right call when you want the cost per lead to fall over time instead of rise.
Running them together has a practical advantage: the ads produce keyword and conversion data in weeks, which tells you which organic keywords are worth chasing before you spend six months chasing them.
There is no fixed number. What matters is a review profile comparable to or better than the businesses currently sitting in the 3-pack for your keywords, and new reviews arriving steadily rather than in bursts.
Look at your top three map competitors, note their count and average rating, and that is your realistic target. Reviews that mention your specific service and your area carry more weight than a bare five stars, and replying to every review is a signal in itself.
Twenty reviews arriving in one week looks manufactured to Google spam systems. A slower flow is both safer and more effective. I do not write, buy or arrange fake reviews for any client, in any market.
There is no contract and no minimum term. Every plan runs month to month, so there is nothing to cancel and no notice period to argue about. To start, send your business name, website and city on WhatsApp at +91 76968 87890 and you will have a free audit back within a day.
Local SEO does need continuity to compound, and I will be honest that stopping at month two usually wastes month one. But that should be your call each month based on the report, not something a signed clause forces on you.
If you prefer escrow and milestone protection, you can hire me through Upwork instead, where I hold Top Rated status with a 100% Job Success Score. The work and the reporting are identical either way.
